functional breathing for
people who live in motion

project

For movers, athletes
and
modern rebels
who want to feel, move and perform better, without overcomplicating anything.

Is your breathing working for you?

You breathe around 20,000 times a day. How many of them are actually
working for you?

We assume that because breathing is always ‘there’ for us, it’s working fine.

But just because breathing is automatic doesn’t mean it’s efficient.

In a world that never slows down, dysfunctional breathing flies under the radar. It’s the "silent glitch" in your system. It doesn’t usually hurt, but it quietly holds you back from your full potential.

Instead of pain, it shows up as
a series of compensations:

The Mental Fog: Struggling with focus despite that third espresso.

The "Wired but Tired" Loop: Feeling on edge even when you’re trying to recover.

The Performance Wall: Hitting a ceiling in your workouts that no amount of ‘more’ can fix.

The Physical Toll: Nagging neck tension and lower back instability that won't clear up.

Most common sub-optimal breathing patterns that fly under the radar:

(01)
Mouth breathing (at rest, during training, or during sleep)

(02)
Upper chest–dominant breathing

(03)
The feeling that you “can’t quite get a deep enough breath”

(04)
Getting breathless or fatigued faster than expected during exercise

(05)
Frequent yawning or sighing

(06)
Feeling lightheaded, tense, or stressed without an obvious reason.

If you recognise yourself in these patterns, you aren't doing anything wrong.
You’ve just developed a system that’s working overtime to keep you going.

The good news? This isn't permanent. Like any other movement pattern, breathing can be assessed, understood, and retrained.

At Breath Club, we don’t do "ultra-zen." We do functional. We retrain your foundation so you can stop thinking about your breath and start using it as a tool that
works for you, not agains you.

Hi, I’m Yulia

and I'm excited that you landed here!

I abelieve that breathwork doesn't have to be mystical or complicated to be powerful.

I never resonated with the silent, perfect, ultra-Zen version of wellness. And I found breathwork not through spiritual retreats, but through real life experiences - over stretching myself during dance work, pushing hard, training, performing, moving countries and riding through seasons where everything felt too loud or too fast.

My style of teaching isn’t about performing calm. It’s about finding freedom through breath - with rhythm, movement, community, laughter and humanity.

So if you’re a mover, an athlete, a creative or simply someone who wants to feel more in tune with your body and breath - you're in the right place!

From the start you can see that Yulia is very professional in what she is doing and most off all - she 100% knows what she does and how to share her experience with others. She helped me a lot to improve as a dancer in very physical/exhausting choreographies. Within few weeks i felt that I can control my breath and not other way around."

    — Kamil Pilarski

  • " Breathing well is essential for everyone, yet good breathing does not come naturally to most. Yulia is a great teacher with deep knowledge of breathing and related practices. She combines this expertise with her interest in sports and her background in professional dance. Yulia is also a great listener and observer. Over the course of 6 Zoom sessions she helped me integrate breathing practices, curated for me and based on my specific problems, into my daily life. Tools that will help me for life. "

    — Stijn Biemans

  • " I’ve always struggled with anxiety and the feeling of not really “breathing right,” so the breathwork workshop was incredibly enlightening for me. Beyond the content itself, what made the experience so special was Yulia as a coach. Incredibly hands-on, approachable, fun and deeply comforting, which made it feel safe to explore and ask questions. I left feeling more connected to my body and much more aware of my breath — something I’ll definitely carry into daily life and training. "

    — Naima Lili

  • " Yulia has been a fantastic teacher, deepening my understanding of breath work, and showing yet again how life changing it can be. Her passion for breath work really carries through and makes the lessons really enjoyable. "

    — Patrick Wiel

  • " I’m a professional performer/dancer and have recently found out I have severe asthma. As someone working so intensely with the body, my awareness of breathing is extremely important. Yulia’s workshop has helped me in many ways; how to be more conscious about the how, where and why of breath work. I can’t recommend Yulia’s workshop enough! “

    — Wolf Govaerts

  • “ I really enjoyed my experience with Yulia’s class. The information is top notch and the way Yulia guides you through is amazing as well. I've noticed that I'm breathing more efficiently during exercise and during mindfullness exercises. This in turn has lead me to being able to focus on other aspects of my own training that were previously hindered by the dysfunctional breathing. “

    — Barend Elias

  • " Yulia explains the pros and cons of breathing in a very clear and easy to understand way. Her approach to functional breathing goes beyond technique. It becomes a useful tool for everyday life for better sleep, recovery, movement, and overall well-being. After her sessions, breathing feels more natural and supportive. I also found her practical tips for improving breathing during sleep very helpful. They are simple, realistic, and easy to apply. You can truly feel her care, professionalism, and deep understanding of the body. A very valuable experience. "

    — Evgenia Rubanova

  • "I had a few private sessions and then participated in the breathing hangout with Yulia twice a week for six months. During the private sessions and during these months, I learned a lot about the importance of proper breathing and how to apply it in practice. I still use the techniques I learned daily. It helps me relax and unwind. If I have any questions, Yulia is always there to answer them. Yulia is knowledgeable, can convey her knowledge effectively, and is a wonderful person to work with. I would definitely recommend her!"
